Portugal hero Cristiano Ronaldo has created another record after scoring the first goal in the 2-0 victory against Wales in the semi-final of 2016 Euro Championship.
The Portugal captain has equalled France legend Michel Platini's record as the all-time European Championship top scorer with nine goals.
Ronaldo's goal in the 50th minute against Wales was his third goal of the ongoing tournament.
His other six goals came in the previous three editions of the continental competition.
Platini had scored all nine of his goals in the 1984 tournament for champion France.

He has also played most number of 20 games for Portugal in the tournament’s history.
