The ‘King of football’ is set to grace the country.
Thirty-eight years after being hosted by India, Brazilian football legend Pele will be in New Delhi on October 16 as special ambassador for the final of the 56th edition of the Subroto Cup.
The big India trip is reportedly scheduled between October 11 to 17.
Pele will also be the guest of honour for Atletico de Kolkata's Indian Super League match against Kerala Blasters on October 13.
The last time the 74-year-old Brazilian was in the country was way back in 1977, with New York Cosmos for an exhibition match with Mohun Bagan.
