Football superstars Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez arrived in Jamnagar under tight security on Monday, with visuals of their arrival shared by news agency ANI.
The footage showed the two icons travelling in a heavily guarded convoy as they moved through the city, quickly drawing widespread attention.
Sharing the video on social media, ANI said the footballers would visit Vantara, the wildlife rescue and conservation centre near Jamnagar, where they are scheduled to stay overnight as guests of Anant Ambani, Director of Reliance Industries Limited.
The Jamnagar stop comes soon after the conclusion of a major event in New Delhi, marking another key leg of Messi’s ongoing GOAT Tour of India.
Conceived by Ambani, Vantara spans nearly 3,000 acres within Reliance’s Jamnagar Refinery Complex and is regarded as one of the world’s largest animal rescue and rehabilitation centres.
