Jeev Milkha Singh's season continues to be marred by injuries with a back problem on Monday forcing him out of this week's Hero Honda Indian Open at the Delhi Golf Club.

Jeev had earlier withdrawn midway through the Casio World Open on the Japan Golf Tour last week because of the same problem.

The Chandigarh golfer has dropped to world No. 157 due to the injury-plagued season.

"I have been playing with a slight shoulder injury for some time, aided with intensive physiotherapy sessions. Things were definitely looking better with both my physique, and my form," Jeev had stated after pullout last week.

The Hero Honda Indian Open, which will be held at the Delhi Golf Course from December 2-5, is the joint richest event on the Asian Tour with a prize money of $1.25 million.
