Delhi Dynamos FC have signed former Real Madrid player Ruben Gonzalez as their second marquee player for the Hero Indian Super League Season 3.
Gonzalez was part of the Los Blancos squad that won the Champions League in 2001-2002 and he then went on to win the Spanish La Liga in 2002-2003. During his time at the Bernabeu, Gonzalez has played alongside Galacticos like current Real Madrid manager Zidane and former Delhi Dynamos manager Roberto Carlos.

He further added, "I have spoken to the manager, Zambrotta and I am in tune with his plans for the season, and I believe we can do even better than last season."
Speaking on Ruben's signing, head Coach of Delhi Dynamos, Gianluca Zambrotta said, "We are glad to have Ruben Gonzalez in our team, he will strengthen our defense and the experience he has gained by playing and training alongside players like Heirro, Carlos, Figo and of course Zidane will only benefit the club and the other players on the field, he will definitely be one of the leaders on and off the pitch for the club."
