Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza and her Swiss partner Martina Hingis continued to display their rampaging form as they extended their winning streak to 32 after progressing through to the third round of the Australian Open in the women's doubles event on Saturday.

Sania also maintained her momentum in the mixed-doubles, as she and partner Ivan Dodig waltzed through to the next round.

In their women's doubles match, the top-seeded pair, who clinched their 11th straight WTA title at the Sydney International last week, claimed a 6-2, 6-3 win over Ukrainian twins Nadiia Kichenok and Lyudmyla Kichenok in a second round contest that lasted over an hour.

Mirza and Hingis will next face Russian-Italian pair of Svetlana Kuznetsova and Roberta Vinci for a place in the quarter-finals.

In the mixed event, Sania and Croat Dodig, also seeded top, got the better of Australians Ajla Tomljanovic and Nick Kyrgios 7-5, 6-1.

Sania and Dodig will square off against the Kazakh-Pakistani team of Yaroslava Shvedova and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi.

Indians also enjoyed a good day in the junior competition.

In the girls' competition, 10th seed Pranjala Yadlapalli defeated Japan's Mayuka Aikawa 6-4, 5-7, 6-1.

Karman Thandi had a smooth victory over Australia's Olivia Gadecki, beating her 6-3, 6-4.
