The series already won, the Indian women's hockey team played out a 2-2 draw against Canada in the final match of the four-Test event at UBC Wright Field, Vancouver on Monday.

Visitors had won the India-Canada Cup 2-0 having beaten the hosts in the opening and third game of the series while the second match was drawn.

India started the match on an attacking note and earned a penalty corner in the 11th minute which was superbly converted by skipper Surinder Kaur.

Two minutes later, Canada restored parity through a penalty corner conversion by Diane Roemer.

India took the lead in the 24th minute when Saba Anjum slammed in from a fast counter-attack.

India led 2-1 at half time.

After lemon break, Canada enjoyed maximum possession but were unable to convert until the 50th minute when Roemer scored again through a penalty corner.

In the last 10 minutes, both the teams played at a high pace but were unable to break the deadlock.

India will now fly to Germany on Tuesday to feature in the Four-Nations tournament at Essen from June 25-27. The other teams in the field are Germany, Australia and Ireland.
