Holders Punjab and Sindh Bank (PSB) trounced Indian Hockey Federation (IHF) Juniors XI 7-2 in aggregate by scoring a 2-1 win in the second leg semi-finals on Thursday to enter the final of the 43rd All India Bombay Gold Cup Hockey Tournament in Mumbai.

PSB, who won the first leg semi-final 5-1 on Tuesday, were content to hang on to their huge lead and played at half pace.

Still it was good enough for the national champions to carve out the 2-1 win in the second leg.

Their goals were scored by forward Rajwinder Singh (6th minute field goal) and drag flick expert and left half Vikramjeet Singh (42nd minute penalty corner).

The lone goal for the losers was notched by Jeetender Siroha who converted a penalty stroke which was awarded in 37th minute after a PSB defender stopped a shot heading towards the goal with his leg off the IHF team's opening penalty corner.

PSB got five penalty corners in all as compared to IHF XI's four (all in the second half).

PSB await the winners of the second semifinal between last year's losing finalists Western Railway and Uttar Pradesh XI on Friday.

UP XI won the first leg of the semifinal 2-1 on May 3.
