Olympique Lyonnais moved top of the Ligue 1 standings when full back Leo Dubois lashed home a stoppage-time winner to snatch a 2-1 home victory over Girondins de Bordeaux on Friday.
Bordeaux's Samuel Kalu cancelled out Karl Toko-Ekambi's first-half opener for the hosts before Dubois pounced two minutes into added time to put Lyon on 46 points from 22 games, one ahead of Paris St Germain and Lille who play on Sunday.
The result left Bordeaux in seventh place on 32 points.
PSG travel to Lorient and Lille host Dijon.
"We have a goal: qualify for the Champions League again," said Dubois.
"Lille and PSG have a game in hand so in terms of points per game we're behind. But we're staying focused on our objectives."
At the Groupama stadium, Toko-Ekambi scored his 10th league goal of the season when he latched onto Memphis Depay's cross.
Lyon had won all 10 games in which they opened the scoring this season but Bordeaux had other ideas as they struck back 10 minutes into the second half with Kalu netting from close range after benefiting from the home side's slack defending.
The visitors came close to taking the lead but Anthony Lopes pulled off decisive saves to deny Remi Oudin and Maxime Poundje.
Lyon grabbed the points when Dubois's missile flew into the top corner, giving Rudi Garcia's side a second win in a row.
Hulk signs two-year contract with Atletico Mineiro
Former Porto and Zenit St Petersburg forward Hulk signed a two-year contract with Atletico Mineiro on Friday, the Brazilian club said.
The 34-year-old recently left Shanghai SIPG after five years with the Chinese club.
He also enjoyed a stint in Japan and was a regular for the Brazilian national team at the start of the 2010s, helping them to the Confederations Cup in 2013.
He joins an Atletico side that is pushing for a Brazilian league title under Argentine coach Jorge Sampaoli.
The Belo Horizonte club are currently in fourth place in the Serie A, five points behind leaders Internacional with six games remaining.
Mir tricks as Huesca records 2nd win in La Liga
Forward Rafa Mir scored a hat trick to lead last-placed Huesca to a much-needed 3-1 victory at Valladolid in their La Liga match.
Mir, who is at Huesca on loan from Wolverhampton, ended a four-game scoreless slump for the modest team from northeast Spain when he headed in a cross from Pablo Maffeo in the 37th minute on Friday.
He doubled his tally in the 50th when he used nice control to pull in a lobbed ball from Maffeo. He held off two defenders before poking the ball past goalkeeper Jordi Masip before creating his third goal in the 57th when he headed on a long ball to Dani Escriche, charged forward, and fired the return pass from Escirche just inside the post.
"I am super happy, but for the victory, not for the three goals," Mir said.
"We needed this win.
"This is what I am paid to do, to score. And at the end, the important thing is the team. We have been having a hard time of it and this win should boost our confidence."
Toni Villa scored Valladolid's consolation goal in stoppage time.
Huesca remained bottom of the table after just its second win of the La Liga season.
Valladolid was left in 16th place, two points above the relegation zone.
Torino draws with 9-man Fiorentina 1-1 in Serie A
Andrea Belotti netted a last-gasp goal to help relegation-threatened Torino draw with nine-man Fiorentina 1-1 at home in their Serie A match on Friday.
Belotti slid in at the far post to redirect a cross from Simone Verdi in the 88th minute, after Franck Ribery scored from a tight angle for Fiorentina on Friday.
Ribery finished off a give-and-go with Giacomo Bonaventura in the 68th, shortly after Gaetano Castrovilli was sent off for a last-man foul.
Then Nikola Milenkovic was sent off, too, following a clash with Belotti, who was shown only a yellow.
Both sides hit the woodwork in the first half.
Torino moved one point clear of the drop zone while Fiorentina was 12th.
Stuttgart beats Mainz for first home win in Bundesliga
Silas Wamangituka sealed a 2-0 win for Stuttgart over Mainz for the promoted team's first victory at home in the Bundesliga.
The Congolese striker completed a one-man counterattack by running 80 meters from the edge of his own penalty area, beating two opposing players and scoring his 11th goal of the season on Friday.
It was Stuttgart's first win at home in nine attempts.
Stuttgart remained 10th, while Mainz stayed just three points above last-placed Schalke.
