The Indian football team will kick off their campaign in the FIFA Under-17 Football World Cup tournament on Friday, when they face USA in their Group A encounter in New Delhi.
India, who are also pooled along with the dangerous Ghana and Colombia, will look to start on a winning note.
Trained under the watchful gaze of coach Luis Norton de Matos and led by Manipur boy Amarjit Singh, India will not have it easy against the plucky Americans in their campaign opener.
This is the first time India will be seen in action at a football World Cup tournament and the team needs all the support it can from football fans accross the country.
With a prayer on our lips and hope in our hearts that they go deep into the tournament, let’s wish our Under-17 team all the success.
