A determined Ukraine edged past 10-man Sweden 2-1 at Hampden Park on Tuesday to book a Euro 2020 quarter-final clash with England.
The two sides were level at 1-1 after 90 minutes following goals from Oleksandr Zinchenko and Sweden's in-form Emil Forsberg before Artem Dovbyk netted a dramatic winner in stoppage time at the end of extra time to seal the contest in Ukraine's favour.
Manchester City's Zinchenko had given Ukraine the lead as he hammered home after 27 minutes having been picked out by a sumptuous Andriy Yarmolenko pass with the outside of his boot.
Zinchenko met the cross with a thumping half volley as Sweden goalkeeper Robin Olsen got a hand to the shot but was unable to keep it out.
Having switched to the role of a wing back after playing in the left of a midfield three in the group stages, Ukraine captain Zinchenko was a constant threat for Sweden right through.
He made another decisive contribution as he set up the second for Dovbyk in the closing stages of extra time as Ukraine created history with their first-ever win in the European Championship knockout stages.
