Champions Manchester United travel to Swansea City for their first Premier League match under new manager David Moyes, while Manuel Pellegrini's Manchester City are at home to Newcastle United on August 17.
United are kicking off their league campaign without Alex Ferguson in charge for the first time since 1986.
They host Chelsea, with Jose Mourinho back in charge for the second time, on August 27 before Moyes makes a return to Merseyside with a game at Anfield against old foes Liverpool on August 31.
The Premier League will become the first domestic competition to adopt the camera-based technology. Dubbed Goal Decision System (GDS) and developed by British company Hawk-Eye, the system promises to give referees a ruling within a second, their watch buzzing to tell them when a ball has gone in.
