New Queens Park Rangers (QPR) owner Tony Fernandes has revealed his interest in recruiting former England football great and LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham through a Twitter, posting.
"I think having someone like David [Beckham] in the club would be great. Was always in my thoughts. Let''s see," the Daily Mail quoted Fernandes, as saying in his tweet.
According to the paper, Loftus Road sources have informed that there has already been initial contact between Rangers and Beckham's representatives over a potential move to west London.
The former Manchester United midfielder's current MLS contract expires in November, from which time he will be able to join another club on a free transfer.
