Describing it as his 'dream' to stay at Real Madrid for many years to come, star striker Cristiano Ranoldo has reiterated his desire to continue with the Spanish giants following a stellar year for the Portugal forward.
"It's my dream to keep playing for Real Madrid and I really want to stay here for many years because the club holds a special place in my heart," Ronaldo was quoted as saying by goal.com.
The 31-year-old stressed that he had won the prestigious Champions League and European Champions trophy with Madrid, which propels him to keep working hard for the club.
"I've won the Champions League and the Euros, it's a beautiful moment in my career and my sporting life.It just makes me want to keep working hard for this club," he added.
Ronaldo, whose current contract with Madrid expires in June 2018, inspired Real Madrid to the Champions League glory with a 5-3 win over Atletico Madrid in a dramatic penalty shootout before winning Euro 2016 with Portugal following a 1-0 win after extra time against host France.
Ronaldo has also notched up a total of three goals in six appearances in all competitions he made for Madrid this season.
