Belgrade Challenger: Somdev, Prakash bite dust

Indian challenge ended in the euro 1065000 ATP Challenger event in Belgrade with the defeats of Somdev Devvarman and Prakash Amritraj in the singles and doubles events respectively. 

Seeded eighth, Somdev lost 6-3, 6-7(6), 3-6 to local wild card Filip Krajinovic in a gruelling opening round of the hard court event. 

Fourth seeded Indo-American pair of Prakash Amritraj and James Cerretani lost their doubles semifinal 2-6, 6-3, 7-10 to unseeded combination of Jamaican Dustin Brown and Martin Slaner of Austria.

Somdev and James got 45 ranking points each and split euro 2300 as prize money.

Somdev did not get any point but got euro 1110 for participating.
