Amritraj, Myneni to meet in Pune ITF Futures final

Prakash Amritraj and Saketh Myneni set up the men's singles title clash in the US $15,000 ITF Futures tournament after comfortable semi-final victories in Pune on Friday.

Fourth seed Myneni shocked Indonesian top seed Christopher Rungkat, ranked 299, wining 6-2, 6-1 in just 51 minutes, while comeback-man Amritraj beat Austrian eighth seed Nicolas Reissig 6-3, 6-4 in 84 minutes.

The 374-ranked Myneni put himself in line for a double crown, as he won his second consecutive doubles title teaming with Purav Raja.

The tops seeded Indian pair came back from 1-4 down to scrape past second seeded N Sriram Balaji and Arun Kumar Rajagopalan 7-5, 6-7(3), 10-5 in the final.
