It’s widely known that Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt is a huge football fan and supports the German national team at international football events (Being part German is a reason she has cited).

Now, the sensational actress has lent her support to Indian football as the country prepares to host the FIFA Under-17 Word Cup in October, later this year.

In a tweet posted by All India Football Federation president Praful Patel, the petit beauty is seen posing with a placard that reads ‘Football takes over’.

“@aliaa08 showing her support for FIFA U-17 World Cup & @IndianFootball

#FootballTakesOver,” Patel tweeted.

India is in a race against time to have all the stadiums ready for the Under-17 World Cup even as the Indian cubs have begun their exposure trip to Europe as part of the preparation for the mega event.
