In the realm of table tennis, Manika Batra showcased her dominance with an effortless 4-0 victory (11-5, 11-4, 11-3, 11-2) over Nepal's Nabita Shrestha.

Her stellar performance earned her a well-deserved spot in the round of 16 in the women's singles category.

Meanwhile, Sreeja Akula faced a tough challenge and unfortunately suffered a 0-4 defeat (6-11, 4-11, 13-15, 9-11) against North Korea's Songgyong Pyon in the round of 32.
