In the men's sprint event of cycling, David Beckham Elkatohchoongo's journey came to a close as he faced a defeat in the quarterfinals against Japan's Kaiya Ota.

Although he didn't advance to the next stage, David Beckham Elkatohchoongo will have another chance to compete later in the day, participating in the race for the 5th-8th positions.
