ROBERT DONADONI, 1990 World Cup
Incumbent Italy coach Roberto Donadoni was a great player, but he is most remembered for his crucial penalty miss against Argentina in the semi-finals of the 1990 World Cup.

Italy, who hosted the event, was the firm favourite and Argentina a shadow of their former self in the tournament.
However, it was the latter which earned the right to play in the final, much to the disappointment of the home fans.
