India stormed into the final of Junior Davis Cup's World Group playoff after stunning top seeds Australia 3-0 in New Delhi on Friday.
Saurabh Singh and Yuki Bhambri continued their winning streak to hand out straight-set defeats to their respective rivals before getting a walkover in the doubles.
Saurabh opened the proceedings for the hosts and he had no trouble beating Jarryd Chaplin 6-3, 6-3 in a one-hour 15-minute contest.
Yuki then beat Maverick Banes 6-4, 6-2 in little over an hour to give India an unassailable 2-0 lead before Maverick and Jarryd conceded the doubles tie citing medical reasons.
Japan blanked Chinese Taipei 3-0 in the other semifinal.
