Russian number four seed Svetlana Kuznetsova gave herself the perfect birthday present on Friday, an easy victory that took her into the fourth round.

Kuznetsova, three times a quarter-finalist at the All England Club, turned 23 in style with a 6-2, 6-4 victory over fiery Czech Barbora Zahlavova Strycova.
"You want always to have a win, otherwise your birthday is a bit bad," she told reporters before heading off into central London for a Japanese sushi meal with friends.
With the shock early exit of Maria Sharapova, Kuznetsova now leads the Russian charge -- nine of the last 32 in the women's competition are Russian.
