Red-hot rehearsal lights up Beijing

The first full dress rehearsal of the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympic Games was held in secret at the National Stadium in Beijing on Thursday night.

There was tight security cordon outside the stadium, known as the Bird's Nest, to keep the event, which stretched for nearly three and half hours, confidential.
