Sinimol and Matsko were neck-and-neck in the first 400m but the Indian accelerated ahead of her rival in the next half of the race to cap a memorable outing in the championship.
Sushma later took over Matsko in the last 50m.
Sinimol's effort was enough to qualify for the World Indoor Athletics Championship in Valencia next month as she crossed the 2:04.00s qualification standard.
She will now compete in two events in Valencia from March 7-9. She had already qualified in 1500m with her gold medal-winning effort of 4:15.42s on Friday, which was also a championship record.
