In archery, the trio of L Bombayla Devi, Dola Banerjee and Pranitha Vardhineni did enough to ensure that the women's team, courtesy a sixth place finish in the ranking rounds, got a bye in the first round. However, they lost 211-206 to China in the quarter-finals.

Bombayala Devi: Went down to Iwona Marcinkiewicz of Poland inn the individual section, the latter winning 103-101 after a tense battle.
Mangal Singh Champia: Sizzled in the ranking round, finishing second overall, but failed to replicate his form in pre-quarter-finals of the men's individual section. Lost narrowly to Russia’s Bair Badenov 109-108.
