World No 4 Nikolay Davydenko reached the semi-finals with an emphatic 6-2, 6-1 victory over Serbia's Janko Tipsarevic.

The Russian will play Roddick.

The 26-year-old Davydenko is off to a career best 17-5 start this season. He became the first Russian man to reach the semi-finals in the 24-year history of the event.
