Chelsea Football Club officials, including its Chief Executive, Peter Kenyon, called on the AIFF president and Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi at his office in Parliament House in New Delhi on Monday.

The English club is presently working with the Asian Football Confederation in the Vision China project.

Dasmunsi briefed Kenyon, who was accompanied by Communications and Public Affairs Director Simon Greenberg, about various activities of the AIFF, including the Vision India Programme.

It was decided that AIFF and Chelsea officials would meet again soon to discuss various possible areas of co-operation.

The Chelsea officials also called on the Speaker of Lok Sabha, Somnath Chatterjee.

Chaterjee showed keen interest in the performance of the London-based club and wished them good luck in the English League and the European Champions League.

The Chelsea officials are in India as part of a delegation led by the Mayor of the City of London to develop cultural, business and sporting links between London and India.
