Roger Federer will get a free ride into the quarter-finals of Wimbledon after his opponent Tommy Haas withdrew on Sunday with an abdominal muscle strain.
The four-times champion was due to face the German 13th seed in the third match on Centre Court on Monday but will now enjoy a rest day.
Haas, who had reached the last 16 here for the first time, suffered the injury in his third-round win over Russian Dmitry Tursunov.
Federer is now not scheduled to play again until Wednesday when he will face either former French Open champion Juan Carlos Ferrero or Serbian Janko Tipsarevic.
