German Tommy Haas booked the final fourth round a spot , prevailing in straight sets over compatriot Florian Mayer on Vodafone Arena.
Haas looked in excellent touch in dismissing Mayer, 7-6(3) 6-3 6-3, and plays Argentine David Nalbandian next.
