Seventh seed Elena Dementieva of Russia thrashed unseeded Italian Maria Elena Camerin in straight sets at the Vodafone Arena in the third round match.
Dementieva beat Camerin 6-1, 6-3 to setup a fourth round clash with 10th seed Nicole Vaidisova of Czech Republic.
