Gael Monfils blew off last year's finalist Marcos Baghdatis' challenge in the second round of the Australian Open on Wednesday.
Monfils, who was hampered by a foot injury, showed superb athleticism to beat the Cypriot 7-6, 6-2, 2-6, 6-0 in two hours and 35 minutes.
