The Indian duo of Rohan Bopanna and Prakash Amritraj on Friday reached the doubles final of the USD 25,000 Challenger event in Kyoto, Japan, after receiving a walkover in the semifinal against top seed Nathan Healey and Robert Smeets of Australia.
Smeets had to withdraw after an injury sustained in his singles quarterfinal.
Prakash and Rohan will now take on the French pair of Nicolas Devilder and Nicolas Mahut in the final.
However, in the singles quarterfinals, Prakash lost to third seed Kristian Pless of Denmark 6-2, 6-3.
