For those football fanatics and new lovers of the beautiful game who have been wondering about life after the World Cup, there's reason to cheer: The English Premier League kicks off in less than a month's time.
Here is a quick look at some of the stars of the football world will battle it out on our television screens again. And remember, this is just a list of confirmed stars, and with transfer season on in full swing, we could even watch stars like Spanish striker Fernando Torres soon.
Thierry Henry, Arsenal
Okay, so he wasn't exactly Paulo Rossi at the World Cup, but the French striker has always fired phenomenally for the Gunners.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger picked Henry up from Juventus in 1999 and the Frenchman scored his first goal for the club against Southamption in September 1999.
Now, he is Arsenal's highest goal-scorer ever, and last season picked up the award for the top scorer in the EPL with 27 goals, despite a season where he was plagued by injury early on.
And he may have a point to prove this time.
