Premier Hockey League

Warriors took the lead in the 38th minute through their first penalty-corner, with Imran Warsi sending a fierce drag-flick into the net, beating rival custodian Salman Akbar.

However, Sultans took the match into extra-time with an equaliser in the 56th minute.

Sardar Singh relayed a square pass to Devinderpal Singh, who shot into the circle where a diving Nitin Kumar slapped it into the goal only for a goal line save by Xalco.

The ball travelled to an unmarked Didar Singh (left) at the top of the circle. He undercut it into the net, leaving Warriors' custodian Adrian D'Souza (centre) helpless.
