In July 2005, Bhupathi returned home after clinching the Wimbledon mixed doubles crown with Frenchwoman Mary Pierce.
Born in 1975 in Montreal, Pierce has appeared in six Grand Slam singles finals during her career and won two of them. She also boasts two Grand Slam doubles titles.
