India's Anup Sridhar in action Sri Lanka's Diluka Thlishan Karunaratne in the men's singles round at the 15th Asian Games in Doha on Tuesday.
Sridhar and Chetan Anand gave India a rousing start, scoring facile victories to storm into the singles pre-quarter-finals of the badminton competition.
Sridhar routed Karunaratne in just 20 minutes, winning the match 21-16, 21-12.
Commonwealth Games bronze medal winner Chetan Anand made short work of Bahrain's Jaafar Hasan, winning 21-9, 21-11 in just 15 minutes.
