India continued to attack Bangladesh relentlessly in the second half and went five ahead from a 43rd minute penalty corner when drag flicker Ragunath Vokkaliga sent the ball into the roof of the net.

Adam Sinclair's shot in the 54th minute from a free hit outside the semi-circle completed India's tally. Despite searching in vein for a consolation, Bangladesh lacked the pace to break down the Indian defence.
