2005 Davis Cup

Roger Federer (right) and Yves Allegro celebrate after winning the doubles rubber to give Switzerland 3-0 lead over Great Britain in the Davis Cup tie in Geneva on Saturday.

Switzerland completed a 5-0 whitewash against Great Britain on Sunday with two wins in the dead rubbers.

George Bastl took just 53 minutes to dismantle David Sherwood’s game in the first match 6-3, 6-0; Wawrinka then defeated Alan Mackin 7-5, 7-6(5).
