Hamburg Masters
Belgian Christophe Rochus upset Argentina's Juan Ignacio Chela 3-6, 6-0, 6-3 to reach his first ATP Tour semi-final.
Chela, who was starting to tire out by the last set, was out maneuvered by Rochus. The Belgian also played some perfect drop shots as he sensed victory.
Rochus knocked out another Argentine, French Open champion Gaston Gaudio, in the previous round and turned his match against Chela on its head by reeling off eight successive games midway through the match.
