Tim Henman suffered a 6-3, 4-6, 2-6 defeat against Argentina's Juan Ignacio Chela.

The Briton, who was a surprise semi-finalist at Roland Garros last year, tackled the seasoned clay-court player well in the first set but his game fell apart on centre court after a controversial line call at 4-4 in the second set.
