Guillermo Coria set up a quarterfinal clash with Federer in the repeat of last year's final in Hamburg.

The Argentine 10th seed beat Croatia's mario Ancic 6-4, 6-3.

Of the top 10 seeds, Federer and Coria are the only ones left in the tournament with Andy Roddick, Marat Safin, Andre Agassi and David Nalbandian all beaten earlier this week. Spaniards Nadal and Carlos Moya pulled out injured.
