August 20. Croatia's Mario Ancic and Ivan Ljubicic celebrate after beating Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes to win the men's doubles bronze medal match at the Olympic Sports Complex Tennis Centre in Athens.

The fifth seeded Indians went down fighting 6-7 (5-7), 6-4, 14-16 in a marathon match that lasted over four hours, the third set alone extending to over two-and-a-half hours.
