World's highest tennis court

Standing 321 metres high on a man-made island, the majestic Burj Al Arab is the world's tallest hotel.

The only seven-star hotel on the planet has created a new benchmark for luxury since its opening in 1999. It has 202 two-storey suites, an underwater seafood restaurant, gold mosaic floors and a fleet of white Rolls-Royces for its guests.

Each of the 202 duplex suites feature floor-to-ceiling windows, offering breathtaking views of the sea.

It was awarded the Best Hotel in the Middle East for the second year in a row at the 2004 Business Traveller Germany Awards Ceremony last month.
