Champions Trophy

It was a brace by young drag-flicker Sandeep Singh (top right) in the dying minutes (61st and 66th) that earned the Indians, who have never won the prestigious tournament, a memorable win over the in-form Pakistanis.

Mohammed Imran (53rd minute) and Tariq Aziz (57th) were the scorers for Pakistan.

India were a completely different side after their lacklustre performance on Saturday, when they lost 1-2 to Spain.

Right from the start they went on the offensive and succeeded in creating several chances.
