Tennis Masters Cup
Hewitt, who won back-to-back Masters titles in 2001 and 2002, and with one last chance of taking revenge on the Swiss, was totally outclassed by the world's best player.
In the first set, Federer broke Hewitt's first service game to go 2-0 up. Federer was leading 5-2, when rain interrupted play, but returning to the court an hour and 17 minutes later, Federer quickly wrapped up the set 6-3.
Federer then stormed to victory by reeling off the last five games, including two breaks, to win the set 6-2 and secure his second Masters title.
