The fledgling fashionista caused a stir in New York two years ago when she appeared at the U.S. Open wearing a shimmering short-legged, all-in-one, black leather-look, skin-tight outfit she described as her Catwoman suit.
"It makes me run fast ... jump high ... like a cat," Serena grinned at the time when asked about the outfit.
On Tuesday she was all smiles again when asked about the possibility of bringing the groundbreaking outfit back to add a little pizzazz to proceedings at the stuffy All England Club.
"I should do that... I should bring that back,!" she guffawed. "That was a popular hit!"
Having hit out a staid and boring outfits in the past, the glamorous 22-year-old -- who is also carving an acting career -- said tennis clothing had come a long way in recent years.
"It's definitely picked up," she nodded. "I think the girls are coming out with better outfits.
"It's definitely more better than it was, you know, five years ago."
The clothing rules are still no way near as progressive as Serena would like.
"I had something really, really super sexy, but they wouldn't let me wear it," she smiled. "I won't describe it... maybe they'll let me wear it next year."
