Denmark vs Sweden
Denmark's Jesper Gronkjaer in engaged in a hard battle for the ball with Erik Edman.
Italian conspiracy theories had suggested the two sides would set up the 2-2 draw that suited both but there was never any suggestion of that as the teams tore into each other in a full-blooded contest.
"There is no doubt that the way the Denmark-Sweden game developed shows that the two teams were aiming for a draw. Of course, proof of that is hard to find," Italian soccer federation president Franco Carraro said of the result.
