Italy's Juventus signed Brazilian midfielder Emerson from Serie A rivals AS Roma for 28 million euros ($33.75 million), the Turin club said in a statement on Saturday.
The 28-year-old Emerson, who has agreed a four-year contract, joins up with former Roma coach Fabio Capello at the Delle Alpi stadium. The former Bayer Leverkusen player has won 55 international caps.
Juventus midfielder Matteo Brighi, 23, moved to Roma for 16 million euros as part of the deal.
