Arsenal's lethal weapons
Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira was Wenger's first high-profile purchase when he took over in 1996. A dogged mid-field general, Vieira inspires his men by doing the hard yards and standing up for his team whenever the situation arises.
Vieira has already set his sights on next season and greater glory in Europe. He insistes Arsenal must now achieve success in Europe after they made history by clinching the Premiership title with an unprecedented run of 34 games without defeat from the start of the season.
"The Champions League is a target for us. It is the same for everyone of us here (at Arsenal) because no-one has won that competition."
