Arsenal's lethal weapons

That Arsene Wenger neither looks or acts like a your normal everyday football manager takes nothing away from the fact that he is indeed among the best in the world at his job.

A controlled intensity is the essence of the studious Frenchman, who speaks four languages fluently. Once he makes his changes, he lets his players do the talking on the field. When Arsenal won the premier league title on Sunday, it was also his third in eight years.

Wenger has presided over a period of change for the north London club. The lackadisial attitudes of the past gave way to a training routine that included stretching exercises, physiotherapy and massage. Computer analysis and a rigorous attention have become the norm.
